Whalley gets paint store

Off-campus students may still be out of luck when it comes to food, but at least they can now redecorate their rooms.

Community leaders announced Tuesday that a Sherwin-Williams paint store will open on the corner of Whalley Avenue and Ella T. Grasso Boulevard, the New Haven Register reported. The store, the 41st Sherwin-Williams in Connecticut, will open Feb. 1. It will sell paint, carpet, blinds and tiles, according to the Register.
