Retired General Stanley McChrystal will be back at Yale in Spring 2011 to teach another course on Leadership, according to a Tuesday e-mail sent to Directors of Graduate Studies from the registrar at the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. McChrystal, who served as commander of military forces in Afghanistan until June 2010, has spent the past semester teaching INRL 690a, “Leadership,” as a Senior Fellow in the Jackson Institute. The course will meet six hours per week between February 7-18 and between April 11-22. The course will be open to graduate, professional and undergraduate students by application only, with the total number of students capped at 20. The application, which a statement of interest, unofficial transcript and resume, is due Dec. 13, and students will notified of admissions decisions by Jan. 7, 2011.
