Four members of the women’s soccer team received All-Ivy honors on Thursday. Forward Becky Brown ’11 and goalkeeper Ayana Sumiyasu ’11 were both first team All-Ivy selections, while forward Kristen Forster ’13 earned second team All-Ivy recognition. Midfielder Enma Mullo ’12 was also named an honorable mention.

It is Brown’s second straight first team selection after earning a unanimous selection last season in her Ivy League Player of the Year campaign. Today’s announcement caps Brown’s stellar career at Yale, where she finished in the top five in school history in goals, assists and points.

This year marks the first time Sumiyasu and Mullo have earned All-Ivy recognition. Sumiyasu had a strong season for the Bulldogs in front of the net and ended her final season in the blue and white with a 1.16 goals against average and a league-best 77 saves.

Mullo was second on the team in assists, with five, and also tallied three goals for the Elis this year.

Forster previously enjoyed second team All-Ivy honors last year, where she was also named Co-Ivy League Rookie of the Year. Forster finished the season tied with Brown as the team’s top scorer, with four goals.
