Don’t panic: your computer isn’t hacked. Your password didn’t change. Yale’s Central Authentication Service login page just underwent a few tweaks.

The new, brighter login page changed around mid-morning on Wednesday, November 9. If you were having trouble logging in around 10 or 11 a.m., the system may have been momentarily down due to the change.

The login page’s alterations are only stylistic. The Yale University Library said in a post on their website, “Just be aware you will see a screen that looks different. If in doubt, you can always click on the “GeoTrust” badge to verify the page is genuine.”
