Two New Haven women were reported missing on Monday, and local police are asking the public to help in the search. According to a press release issued by City Hall spokeswoman Jessica Mayorga, Amarillis Hernandez, 30, and Leyneshka Vazquez, 18, went missing after they left Meriden to go to Waterbury. Police believe that they may be in the company of two Hispanic men and may also be in Naugatuck.

From the release:

Amarillis “Lily” Hernandez is described as a light-skinned Hispanic female, 5’1” tall, 122 pounds, with blonde and brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo of a rose on her foot, a tattoo of the name “Cano” on her left upper arm, and a tribal symbol tattoo on her lower back. She also has a birthmark by her right eye and both of her lips are pierced. Hernandez drives a black 4-door 1997 Honda Accord.

Lyneshka “Lenny” Vazquez is described as a light-skinned Hispanic female, 5’3” tall, 125-130 pounds, long black hair and brown eyes.
