Normally, we don’t report on Halloween parties within the University’s academic departments. But the English majors’ Halloween Party in Linsly-Chittenden Hall could be the place to be this Friday from 2 to 4 p.m., in part because of the hot cider and hot poetry readings…and in part because of the potential for people watching.

Of course, there’s always a chance that, even though he’s a grad student, James Franco GRD ’16 could swing by the festivities, especially considering the photographic evidence that he showed up to former English dept. registrar Ruben Roman’s farewell party last month.

We wonder how he might dress up for Halloween.
