THE NEWS

  • Rain or shine. It may be pouring, but the show must go on for Yale’s a capella Tap Night. Check back at yaledailynews.com tomorrow for images from the mayhem.
  • Columbia faculty and students are urging their university to prepare to bring back the school’s ROTC program once the federal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy is abolished — even though the Senate blocked the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” yesterday. And they’re encouraging Yale to make the same preparations.
  • No big deal: Faculty say they’re not too worried about Yale’s plan to work with the National University of Singapore to establish the first liberal arts college in southeast Asia.
