Students get mad for their meat

Take back the dining halls! Josh Feldman ’11 created the Facebook group “Yale students against Meatless Monday” on Monday evening in response to Yale Dining’s decision to make Monday’s residential college dining hall menus “meatless” in anticipation of Earth Day on Thursday.

The group’s description accuses Yale Dining of being out of touch with the student body’s dining desires, calling for the Yale administration to “wake up!” Officers of the group include freshmen, juniors, seniors and an alumnus, holding such titles as “Meatball Maven” and “Commander Sausage.” Over 390 students have joined the movement against Meatless Monday.
