M. HOCKEY | Yale hockey forwards Sean Backman ’10 and Broc Little ’11 were named to the Reebok All-American second team on Friday.
The top two goal scorers on the nation’s highest scoring offense, Backman and Little led the Bulldogs to their second consecutive regular season ECAC title. Although Backman missed the playoffs with an injury, the Elis still went on to win their first postseason game in 58 years with a 3–2 upset over North Dakota.
Backman, who recently signed with the Dallas Stars, had 21 goals this year. Little had 27 goals, leading the nation in goals per game with 0.79.
This is the first time that either player has been selected to an All-America team.
