MEN’S HOCKEY | The National Hockey League’s Dallas Stars have signed Yale forward Sean Backman ’10 to a one-year free agent contract, according to a blog post published by Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News earlier today.

Backman missed the Bulldogs’ last five games of the season after breaking his ankle in an after-hours incident at Payne Whitney Gymnasium.

The First-Team All-ECAC forward had 21 goals and 14 assists prior to his career-ending injury.
