Cupcake seekers were out of luck Tuesday as the wear-and-tear of rumbling over New Haven potholes landed the Cupcake Truck in the shop. When it will return to the road remains to be seen, though its blog reported that the vehicle would hopefully be fixed by today or Thursday.

RecycleMania Week 5 results have been posted, with Yale holding its own in many categories. Yalies’ top score came in the “Gorilla Prize” competition — collecting the highest gross tonnage of recyclables — with a ninth-place ranking among 343 participating schools. The Elis are also 22nd in the “Per Capita Classic” — a measure of recyclables gathered per person.

But Yale could definitely be greener on the whole, as the Blue ranks 148th out of 264 schools qualifying for the all-encompassing RecycleMania category of “Grand Champion” with a cumulative recycling rate of 23.98 percent.

A study break for the strong-stomached. Morse will host a pre-med study break in Swing Space tonight at 8:30 p.m. with pizza, but squeamish aspiring doctors should beware — undergraduates are heading over to the Medical School at 9 p.m. to watch current medical students dissect a cadaver.

A silent candlelight vigil for the victims of the earthquake in Chile, organized by the Chaplain’s Office and the Latin American Student Organization, will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. in Dwight Hall Chapel.

A lonely day at the polls: Andy Feldman ’11 was the only Yale student to vote in Tuesday’s election for Ward 22 Democratic Committee co-chair. Ward 22 represents students living in Ezra Stiles, Morse, Silliman and Timothy Dwight colleges.
