The School of Medicine and Yale-New Haven Hospital sent six doctors and medical professionals to Haiti yesterday to help with post-earthquake relief, and now the team is sending back images and small pieces of news from the disaster-torn country. “Tuesday night members of the Yale medical team arrived safely in Hinche. They will provide us with a daily update on activities. They have already let their families know that they are safe,” said a blog post published by the Office of Public Affairs Wednesday afternoon. Below, the Yale medical team unloads supplies and equipment at an airport Hinche, a central Haitian city close to the border with the Dominican Republic. (The photos are courtesy of Dassault Falcon.)
