  • It’s the greatest job you’ve never heard of: acquisitions librarians, who travel the world to find rare and obscure books for Yale’s library collections.

  • John Shi ’12 is creating a new Web site called YaleLocal, which he says will streamline the way Yalies shop.
  • Unlike Yale, most other top-tier colleges experienced a rise in their number of applicants this year. But some admissions officers maintain that these added applications might be more of a hindrance than a help.
