  • East Rock residents are butting heads with a neighboring middle school over a back-door entrance to the campus.
  • Dominican-American Pulitzer-winning novelist Junot Díaz spoke to a packed crowd at a Ezra Stiles Master Tea Monday afternoon about his childhood, his writing and the current American political landscape. On the recent earthquake in Haiti, Díaz said: “Often when events like this happen, a veil is ripped off our world. We begin to see the world for what it really is, not what we try to think it is.”
