Buck Angel, a prominent transsexual porn star scheduled to speak at a Yale Master’s Tea next month, received a threat via Facebook warning him to stay away from Yale, according to an article posted on the politics and entertainment blog “La Figa” Thursday morning. Angel’s planned appearance on campus is slated to be a part of this year’s Sex Week at Yale.

On his Facebook account, Angel posted a copy of the threat, which said, “we’ll be waiting for you at Yale….we would like to tell you to your ugly messed up face, just what we think, and dare you sweet heart to swing.” Angel notified authorities at Yale about the threat, and he will have 24-hour security during his stay in New Haven, La Figa reported.

When contacted by La Figa, Buck Angel said the threat will not deter him from coming to Yale: “I’m not scared. I’ve been getting hate mail since I’ve been doing my work. Some people think I’m what’s wrong with the world. But I wasn’t expecting it from Yale, an institute of higher learning. It took me by surprise.”
