While the Office of Admissions’ new recruitment video, That’s Why I Chose Yale,” has received mixed reviews on the Cross Campus comments page, the Harvard Crimson’s FlyBly Blog was rather complimentary.

“[The video was] a lusciously filmed, perfectly choreographed admissions video that makes getting an education at Yale seem like just another a day at Disneyland.

Is this sun-drenched musical — which stars a multicultural cast of Yalies — a work of genius or a load of garbage? Does Harvard wither like a sad sack in comparison, or does Yale seem like it’s trying way too hard?”
