THE NEWS

  • Mike Jones ’11 won the Ward 1 Democratic Endorsement Vote on Friday with 49.2 percent of the cote. Nearly 475 people showed up for the vote, a number that New Haven Democratic Town Committee Chair Susie Voigt said was “impressive.”
  • Renovations have begun at Mory’s, the historic eating club founded in 1849, Christopher Getman ’64, the president of the club’s board of governors said. The restaurant is projected to reopen fall 2009.
  • Pre-orientation programs may attract fewer members of the class of 2013 due to the economic downturn.
