The women’s tennis team’s clash with Columbia on Saturday featured a celebrity doubles match that pitted two of Yale’s most prominent athletic squads, the football and men’s basketball teams, against each other. Hoops players Ross Morin ’09 and Chris Andrews ’09 and football brothers Bobby Abare ’09 and Larry Abare ’10 faced off for eternal glory. Or at least as much glory as can come from an exhibition tennis match chronicled for posterity on the Cross Campus blog. The victors? The basketball team. Morin and Andrews claimed a 11-9 victory over the twins.
