The rivalry meetings mark the beginning of divisional play, in which the Elis will look to maintain, and possibly extend, their current two-game lead in the Red Rolfe Division.

BASEBALL: Sacred Heart halts Yale’s five-game win streak

After sweeping four critical Ivy games last weekend, which included two thrilling walk-offs in extra innings, the Yale baseball team entered Tuesday afternoon boasting a season-high five-game win streak. However, the Bulldogs (11–19–1, 6–2 Ivy) fell 7–0 to in-state foe Sacred Heart (14–13, 6–1 Northeast) in a contest marked by quiet Yale bats and a four-run Pioneer sixth-inning outburst.

GOLF: Wang ’17 paces third-place result

While much of the golf world was focused on Augusta National and the Masters Championship this past weekend, the Yale men’s and women’s golf teams had their own business to attend to, with the men competing in the Princeton Invitational and the women contending for the River Landing Classic.
