Over the weekend, seven players from the women’s squash team (13-5, 4-3 Ivy) participated in the College Squash Association Individual Championships, held at Trinity College.

The Bulldogs entered the National Championship in search of the 2013 College Squash Association’s Howe Cup as the number five seed.

The No. 5 Elis find themselves one step closer to second place in the Ancient Eight after this weekend’s victory over Dartmouth.

The Bulldogs’ deep roster showcased its talent Wednesday evening with a 9-0 clean sweep of the No. 9 Brown Bears (11-5, 1-4 Ivy).

The No. 5 women’s squash team emerged from the weekend with its hopes for an Ivy League title evaporated but the chances of a national championship still alive.

Despite multiple chances to close out Trinity College, Yale was handed its first loss of the season.

The women’s squash team did not falter against ranked opponents on Friday and Saturday, posting four wins without dropping a single match.

The women’s squash team started the heart of the season in Ivy League play this weekend with wins against No. 6 Cornell and No. 14 Columbia. The Bulldogs also defeated Colby and Williams earlier in the break with clean sweeps of 9–0.

Last Friday at the Brady Squash Center, the Bulldogs won the match 9–0 for the fourth straight year.

The Bulldogs opened their season at the Brady Squash Center this weekend, facing teams from across the Ancient Eight at the Ivy Scrimmages.
