Not this time. In a break from debate tradition, presidential candidates Hillary Clinton LAW ’73 and Donald Trump did not shake hands before the presidential debate last night. The candidates shook hands with each other at the beginning of their first debate last month.

Any final words? At the end of the presidential debate the candidates were asked to say one positive thing about each other. Clinton complimented Trump’s children while Trump said his opponent is a “fighter.” The last debate will be held Oct. 19.

What’s in a life? Starting at 2 p.m. today in Bass Cafe, the Life Worth Living Program will be inviting students to write a note of gratitude to someone they appreciate. The cards will be delivered by the group and mailed if the person is not on campus.

THIS DAY IN YALE HISTORY. 1990 Following a five year absence, the Yale College Bowl Club returns to campus. The trivia club plans to prepare for University and invitational competitions at the New England and national levels.
