There can be only one. The Yale Political Union is hosting its annual Freshman Prize debate tonight at 7 p.m. in room 114 of Sheffield-Sterling-Strathcona Hall. Open to all freshmen, the debate is titled “Resolved: The Arc of History bends toward Justice.”

Empire state of mind. After moving into the Elm City in the Spring of 2015, Junzi Kitchen will be opening in New York in 2017. Founded by Yong Zhao ’15, Ming Bai ART ’14 and Wanting Zhang FES ’11, the restaurant is known for its wraps, salad bowls and rice bowls.

Fresh blood. New Haven Elementary School has welcomed B.J. McCabe as its new principal. The experienced administrator hopes to serve in the position for the long haul, especially given that last year the principal of New Haven Elementary left after just one year on the job.

THIS DAY IN YALE HISTORY. 1993 Designed by Maya Lin ’81 ARC ’86 to commemorate women at Yale, the Women’s Table is officially unveiled to a crowd of hundreds. Lin chose not to give a speech because she said her sculpture “speaks for itself.”
