Lupita Nyong’o DRA ’12, the sixth-ever black woman to win Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her performance in “12 Years a Slave,” spoke out against the Academy in an interview with Buzzfeed yesterday. “It’s vital for film, TV and theater to be inclusive of the people who will engage in it, and who will learn to dream from it,” she told Buzzfeed.
