According to an email sent by SCC Co-Secretary Clare Kane ’14 around 2pm today, the annual Senior Class Masquerade Ball has reached peak attendance, forcing current non-ticket holders to write their name down on a wait list.

“We would love to be able to let them attend, but we cannot do so unless other seniors cancel,” Kane said.

This year’s event will be held at the Omni Hotel, a venue that has strictly capped admittance to the first 1,000 attendees. The maximum number of tickets have already been sold, leaving non-ticket holders in limbo. Individuals who currently hold tickets but are unable to attend have been encouraged to inform the SCC immediately, as their ticket will be refunded and passed on to the next senior on the waiting list.

Unlike with the YSO Halloween Show, a ticket scalping frenzy is unlikely to happen as the SCC is enforcing a strict “no ticket transfer” policy.

The Senior Class Masquerade Ball is scheduled for this Friday, Nov. 8 at the Omni Hotel.
