Award-winning journalist Bob Woodward ’65 will teach a journalism seminar in the spring semester, according to the tentative 2013-’14 English course list.

English 467, “Journalism,” is an application-based intensive journalistic workshop taught during the fall and spring semesters. According to the course list, which was emailed to all English majors on Wednesday, journalist Steven Brill ’72 LAW ’75 will teach the course in the fall and Mark Schoofs ’85 and Woodward will teach in the spring.

In 1972, Woodward and colleague Carl Bernstein conducted much of the original reporting on the Watergate Scandal for the Washington Post. Woodward was also the Post’s principal reporter covering 9/11 and its aftermath, and he now serves as the newspaper’s associate editor.

In addition to his reporting for the Post, Woodward has written 16 books on American politics.
