The 12th and final regular juror was selected today in the trial of Joshua Komisarjevsky, the New Haven Register reported.

Komisarjevsky faces charges in the infamous 2007 Cheshire home invasion in which the wife and two daughters of William Petit were brutally murdered. Co-defendant in the murders Steven Hayes was sentenced to death in December.

Of the 12 jurors selected, six have something in common: they work for Yale. The 12th juror is an assistant coach of a Yale athletic team, the Register reported.

While only 12 jurors will serve on the jury, attorneys must now find six alternates and three back-up alternates.

Komisarjevsky’s trial begins in September.
