In a post-season full of awards, Jackee Snikeris ’11, Yale women’s ice hockey goalie, earned perhaps the biggest honor she’s won so far on Wednesday, taking home ECAC Hockey’s Student-Athlete of the Year honors. Snikeris is a History of Science, History of Medicine major who is also pre-med, with a cumulative 3.59 G.P.A. Her work has been published in the Journal of Surgical Radiology, and she has volunteered at a local hospital and for local hospice care during her collegiate career.

On the ice, Snikeris has been equally as impressive, taking home ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Year honors this season, and will leave New Haven holding Yale’s career save percentage, goals-against average, and shutout records. This season, she is a nominee for the Patty Kazmeier award for the top player in women’s college hockey.
