Saybrook students received an email on Monday with the subject line “Give me yo’ plates — a short film by Allie Bauer.”

The email contained a link with the heading, “I made this embarrassing video just for you!”

Curious Saybrugians who clicked the link were greeted by the smiling face of Allie Bauer ’12, Vice President of Saybrook’s College Council.

In her video, Bauer let Saybrook know that she and some other members of the SCC would be walking from room to room on Friday at 10 a.m. to collect plates and other items that had been taken from Saybrook’s dining hall over the course of the semester.

“So just know that I’m coming… to you,” said Bauer, laughing and ending her video with an awkward pause.

“We’ll edit out that last part,” promised a voice in the background.
