With election day now just one weekend away, it could be curtains for Joe Miller LAW ’95, according to a poll released today.

The poll shows Miller, a Republican backed by Sarah Palin and the Tea Party Express, behind both his opponents in the race, Democrat Scott McAdams and Republican incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski. His support has fallen to 23 percent of Alaska residents, according to the poll, which was commissioned by the Hays Research Group. McAdams draws 29 percent support, and write-in candidates, which in all likelihood means Murkowski, lead with 34 percent.

Miller upset Murkowski in an August primary, and until the Hays poll has been tied with or leading his opponents. The 500 residents polled also registered an all-time high unfavorable rating of 68 percent for Miller.
