Five students will share their accounts of Saturday’s early morning raid of the Morse-Stiles screw at Elevate Lounge at a 4 p.m. news conference at Phelps Gate.

Marty Evans ’11, and Michelle Glienke ’11, Tully McLoughlin ’11, Ben Schenkel ’12 and Jaya Wen ’12, all eyewitnesses to the raid, will give short statements and answer questions, Ward 1 Alderman Mike Jones ’11 said in an press release. Glienke, McLoughlin and Wen all contributed to planning the dance.

The conference was organized by the Student Response Committee, a group that includes the Morse and Ezra Stiles College Councils and Student Activity Committees, the Yale College Council, and other leaders on campus.

“The group remains committed to working with the City of New Haven and the New Haven Police Department to work towards an amicable resolution,” Jones said in the e-mail.
