The Farmington Canal pedestrian bridges, designed by Cesar Pelli, were installed as part of the Hillhouse Avenue Bridge Project at 9 a.m. on Thursday. The roadway was replaced in 2008. The neighboring Prospect Street Bridge is currently under construction but reopened to foot traffic around New Year’s.
