At the end of finals period last winter break, a snow storm delayed many students’ travel plans. The same meteorological nuisance might occur again this year — and it could be even worse.

The National Weather Service is predicting between eight and 12 inches of snow beginning Saturday morning. But the path of the storm is still uncertain, and “any minor deviation in the track of this storm will have a large impact on snow amounts and wind strength.”
