Brown may have snared Emma Watson, but it looks like Yale may have won the heart of another famous teenager: Caroline Wozniacki, the eighth-ranked women’s tennis player in the world.

The Danish-born Wozniacki, 19, gave a pep talk to the Yale football team while in New Haven for the Pilot Pen tennis tournament last month, and her father now says that Wozniacki wants to go to school here.

“Caroline would like to study at Yale, so we actually are looking at the opportunity [of moving to] New York,” the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet quoted him as saying (according to the New Haven Register’s translation, at least). “It’s close to New Haven, and there are training opportunities here, so we are thinking very seriously about it.”
