It remains unclear whether Yale will be able to hold its international summer internship program, “British Bulldogs,” in the United Kingdom this year, Director of Undergraduate Career Services Phil Jones said in an e-mail to all program applicants Friday. Recent changes to U.K. immigration policies placed the program in jeopardy for this summer; UCS has been seeking a way forward for months. In the e-mail, Jones said UCS has gained new support within the British government, quoting the Minister of Immigration, who said: “there are a number of options being developed on how we should progress.” Jones said new information should be available early this week.
