U.S. District Judge Mark Kravitz ruled earlier this week that the United States Department of Homeland Security must disclose more information about the Immigration and Enforcement’s June 2007 raid, the New Haven Register reported. This raid resulted in the arrest of 31 alleged illegal immigrants, the majority of whom remain in the Greater New Haven area. Kravitz decided that Homeland Security violated federal Freedom of Information laws, and his ruling covered material that the arrested residents’ layers want from the Department of Homeland Security.
