A man was arrested Wednesday for three narcotics charges and four motor-vehicle charges, a city press release said yesterday. Terry Gallman was detained for not having a front license plate by the New Haven Police Department during a vehicle check. The officers then discovered that Gallman was wanted for charges dealing with hallucinogens. “This arrest demonstrates that by strengthening enforcement on quality-of-life and traffic issues throughout the City, we’ll be able to impact some of the bigger issues and make arrests that can result in not only safer streets, but safer neighborhoods,” NHPD Chief James Lewis said in the release.
