Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who is teaching a seminar at Yale this fall, will speak to the Yale community in a conversation with University President Richard Levin in Woolsey Hall on Friday, Sept. 19. The talk was announced Friday by Vice President and Secretary Linda Lorimer. “Mr. Blair will be asked to reflect on his decade-long tenure as Prime Minister, his current efforts as special envoy in the Middle East, and his new Faith Foundation, which brings him to Yale to co-teach a course this fall on Faith and Globalization,” Lorimer wrote in an e-mail message to Yale faculty members, students and staff. Tickets for the 4:30 p.m. event will be distributed Wednesday and Thursday on a first-come, first-served basis on the second floor of Woolsey Hall.
