The men and women’s outdoor track teams really like warm weather.

For the the third consecutive weekend, the teams head south of the Mason-Dixon line. This weekend they are in Williamsburg, Va., for the 41st annual Colonial Relays, a meet that includes many teams from along the East Coast. A press release from the College of William and Mary, the meet’s host, said almost 3,000 high school and college athletes are expected to compete.

Last year, the women’s team placed fourth of 14 teams, and the men’s squad finished seventh of 16 squads.
