Charles McCrann, a senior vice president at Marsh & McLennan, is also missing after the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. McCrann received a J.D. degree from Yale Law School in 1972.

Marsh & McLennan, an insurance and financial services company, had offices on seven high floors of 1 World Trade Center, and 295 of its employees are missing.

A Marsh & McLennan employee manning the company’s victim information hotline confirmed that McCrann is listed as missing but could not provide any information about his family or next of kin.

“For me, for all of us, this event is beyond understanding. The enormity of the atrocity. Nothing in my experience has prepared me for the loss of so many innocent people. The randomness of the attack, its suddenness. We were not at war,” Marsh & McLennan chairman Jeff Greenberg said at a memorial service Friday. “On Tuesday morning Sept. 11, we were just going to work.”
