There is an epidemic attacking the minds of our nation’s adolescent girls. It provokes “relational aggression” and the urge to emotionally “torture” your peers. It threatens to pulverize us into trembling balls of “contagious and unhealthy emotional angst.”

Good article! Girl world is a dangerous place. It can become an abusive place with the stone silences, sideways glances and the basic need to ignore one another. Oh, we are angry alright but instead of telling that person, we form a group of allies and tell them everything.

I consider this a form of abuse. I wish society would take friendships and the abuse that goes with them a lot more seriously.
